Meet the summer 2023 Enterprise Systems interns
Maggie Avadhanam (she/her)
Maggie is a graduate student from Hyderabad, India, pursuing an M.S. in data science. She has experience in data science and cloud DevOps engineering from previous positions, and after she finishes her degree in May 2024, she hopes to work as a cloud DevOps engineer who makes decisions that have impact on the world. As an undergrad, she was on a team that presented a research paper at the ICDCI 2021 conference that has been accepted by a journal for publication. Maggie has a passion for traveling and exploring diverse cultures and cuisines, and she loves reading horror and mystery novels.
Aidan Cooper (he/they)
Aidan is from Osceola, Indiana. He is an undergraduate studying computer science with a specialization in foundations and will be graduating in fall 2023. This is Aidan’s first internship experience, and he is enjoying the opportunity to experience real-world applications for the tools he learns about in his studies. After graduation, he would love to continue working in Bloomington in an IT/software dev position. Outside of school, he likes to develop board games and video games, watch bad movies with friends, and learn about philosophy and politics.
Nikith DSouza (he/him)
A graduate student from Bangalore, India, Nikith is working toward a Master of Science in human-computer interaction (HCI) and design. In the height of the pandemic, he worked on a project related to online learning and published a paper in the ACM Digital Library in New York at the India HCI conference. He is interning with the Enterprise Experience Design and Development team and hopes to become a UX designer. He enjoys trying new foods and learning how to cook.
Snigdha Narayan (she/her)
Snigdha is from Hyderabad, India, and is pursuing an M.S. in human-computer interaction. This is her first internship experience. After graduation in spring 2024, she wants to work as a product designer, building cool customer-facing experiences that make a difference or a positive impact. Outside of work and school, Snigdha enjoys doodling, collects toys, and watches “a lot of” anime.

Emma Fecteau (she/her)
Emma is from Madison, Wisconsin. She expects to graduate at the end of summer 2023 with a Bachelor of Arts in media. Her current goal is to become a user experience (UX) writer. To that end, she is interning with the Student Academic Systems team and learning about writing and editing content from a UX perspective. She enjoys reading, working out, and writing novels.
Vaibhavi Patel (she/her)
From Mumbai, India, Vaibhavi is working toward a May 2024 Master of Science in computer science. As an undergrad, she worked on a research project to design an intelligent system for autism; it was published in IEEE for the 2018 ICCICT. Her ultimate career goal is to be a solution architect. She is interning with the Enterprise Platform team, developing APIs. She likes to watch TV series such as “Modern Family” and “Suits” when she’s not traveling and exploring new places.
